Spring Forward or Bloom Where You’re Planted?

We all have two choices as we move our clocks forward an hour for Daylight Saving Day.

Although the image of cutting off a foot at the top of the blanket and sewing it on the bottom of the blanket doesn’t really make much sense, we still do it!

Choice One: Spring Forward Today!

And though moving the clock ahead an hour smacks of messing with the time continuum, we can certainly use it as a mechanism to jump start our individual spring.

Any day can be our new start! So what have you been thinking of doing, but haven’t gotten around to yet? As you know, any day can be your January 1.

So today is as good as any to

  • make that decision,
  • take that action, and
  • move ahead.

Choice Two: Bloom Where You Are Planted!

Now this one can be really fun if you don’t want to make a drastic change, but just be effective and beautiful where you are.

And you could even become a guerilla gardener or pothole gardener and create something that’s fun and special!

  So…

  • whatever your choice,
  • have a happy Daylight Saving Day,
  • whether or not it makes any sense!

After all, it doesn’t have to be either/or.

It could be both/and!

What resonates with you?

Oh I so love this Pat!!! I do however know that taking part of the blanket from the top and putting it on the bottom of the blanket doesn’t make it longer, but with my schedule, it sure gives me more time to ride my horses and have fun in the evening!!! Thx for sharing !!!!?Marda

Barbara and Marda, thanks for your comments! And I bet that evening activities while still daylight benefit from our blanket alterations!
