audrey hepburnThere’s so many great ideas on life, love, laughter and the beliefs we choose to enhance our quality of life!

Here’s some of mine and I hope you’ll share some of yours!

Audrey was such a graceful person as well as

one I enjoyed in each of the movies I saw her in.

life mistakeschoc list to do

I always have to have at least one thought about chocolate!

No mistakes, just lessons to use!

 book and film feeling blue

Out of the mouths of children comes wisdom!

 I don’t know about you,

but a book beats the movie almost every time.

Chalk it up to my English teaching and bookstore owning background!

 life and skateboard

 life now

If “now” is all there is, I think we should not take it so seriously.

See the skateboarding image and message above………….

We’re all connected and a smile is one thing that we can give and still have to give again and again!make someone smile

What message speaks to you?

What mantra makes you smile, relax, enjoy?

“Make someone smile whenever you can” works for me.
As we feed the hungry at St Pauls’ Episcopal Church each Tuesday and Thursday, we get paid for the meal with lots of smiles. (The best pay you can ever receive).
Whenever I find a vet of the VietNam War, I just offer my hand and tell them “Welcome Home” – that gets smiles and sometimes tears from those who have earned the greeting.
Then there is those special times in life that bring smiles and memories (and if lucky – a picture) – the smile has lots of value.
Just keep looking for the smile and hug sometimes too.

Earl, how true that smiles received are as heartwarming as those given. And I admire your choices in providing service to others.

  • Of course I like the thought about chocolate. At first I felt I had no comment since I was feeling depressed and didn’t want to contaminate other’s thoughts. But as I was making my bed, I looked out the window and saw a single rose in bloom. Being reminded of “The Little Prince” and his one rose, I thought one rose is all I need. So I will focus on that (and eat chocolate).

Mary Kay, how often we overlook the power of those little things in life that give us pleasure! (like roses and chocolate!)Thanks for sharing with us all.
