go back to bed
Time to give thought to our thoughts!

It is always fun for me to narrow my monthly quotes about life down to just eight! I’ve lots of favorites and don’t think I’ll ever run out of inspiring or fun thoughts to share!

Which one do you like best?

Do you have a different one that you’d like to share?

We’d love to know!

  • Without a doubt the one about follow your dreams, go back to bed. Going back to bed always sounds good to me.

    • Pat says:

Mary Kay, I too find as I get older I appreciate naps and bed ever so much more than when I was growing up and didn’t want to “waste” the time in bed.

  • Mark Klicker says:

Pat, I had a hard time picking one but I think the one “letting things go gracefully not meant for you” spoke volumes to me.

    • Pat says:

Mark, I think letting go is always difficult when we remember that we chose it and there was a good reason at the time. Congratulations on your insight and ability to make the often difficult choice!

  • Earl Blackaby says:

Hi again Pat. I have three that have meant a lot to me, so will share them with you:
    1. Do not judge another person until you walk a mile in their shoes.
    2. For your children, provide them with a comfortable nest, then teach them how to fly.
    3. To argue with a fool only produces two fools arguing.
Often times, only a few words can mean a lot in a person’s life.
Recently this idea came to me so I share it with others – when you approach a person to shake their hand, look over their shoulder and accept that person and what brought her/him to you at that moment.
(Started with the walking in another’s shoes for a mile ). We are all different and have different paths we have followed in our lives. Don’t judge, just accept.

    • Pat says:

Earl, you’ve given a lot of thought over the years to what is important and it is apparent! Thanks so much for sharing with us.
And I think your last sentence, “Don’t judge, just accept” is one of the hardest lessons to practice.
