 battle of witsQuotes are powerful.

They can stir emotion, invoke confidence, make us reminisce, put us in our place, infuriate us, make us laugh, make us cry… you get the idea.

When I need some inspiration or I’m feeling a bit down, I check out my favorites and feel instantly energized and grateful.

Here are some of my current favorite quotes.

seed growing

We can pick the thoughts that we want to exemplify!

  • Dave Klein says:

They are all so good. The one on faith and fear rings true in that I sometimes forget that the dynamic operating when I am fearful is the same as when I’m faith-full. The one on the seed is beautiful. It is the hard truth that we are often buried and in the dark but that something in that is nourishing us so we can grow!

Dave, I, too, particularly like the reminder that fear or faith is always our choice! And recognizing the truth that the quote about the seed/my life points out.

  • Fay says:

Of course there are no recipes for leftover chocolate! Good heavens – that would be a travesty – as there is, of course, no such thing as ‘leftover’ chocolate.

  • Earl Blackaby says:

I also keep returning to chocolate.
I don’t ever find “leftovers” as it is with family and friends.
You share with them and they with you and nothing is “leftover” until the next visit. Just as wanting to say or do something for another, do it now, don’t wait for the next time ( that may not happen ). Say or do now, no “leftovers”.

  • Tish says:

My favorite today is “If I survive……………..” HA…….fits my week!
